Healthy Lifestyles Healthy Kids (HLHK) ended the 2017 summer swim season in spectacular fashion. The HLHK Sharks (the organization’s summer league swim team) competed for the third consecutive year in the Atlanta Swim Association (ASA) Summer League. The team came in fourth, with 940.5 points, out of 108 teams competing in the Finals on Saturday, July 1st at Georgia Tech’s McAuley Aquatic Center. This is a fantastic feat for a team with swimmers aged 15 years and younger!!!!! Following the ASA Championships were the 2017 Georgia Age Group State Championships where the HLHK SEALs did not disappoint. Trinity Zackary (age 10) is the 2017 State Champion for the 400M Freestyle and 100M Freestyle. Trinity also placed third in the 200M Individual Medley and 50M Backstroke. Her teammate Jayla Thompson placed second in both the 100M Butterfly and 200M Butterfly and placed third in the 50M Freestyle and 50M Butterfly. Other HLHK SEALs who qualified for the State Championships were Kala Berry (11), Zahir Harrison (11), Spectacular King (10), Nasir Harrison (10) and Pilar King (8). Coaches Jabari King, Brandon Little and Tony Blair are really proud of all the HLHK Swimmers.
