Soccer, or Football as it is called in the rest of the world, is the most popular sport worldwide and is an ideal sport for health, strength and endurance. Soccer is for players of all ages and is said to be especially good for children and youth. According to the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), more than 18 million children participate in leagues and programs each year. Today, many children have health issues and risks due to obesity and inactivity. Soccer is a sport that encourages kids to turn off the T.V., get off the couch and get some exercise.
At HLHK, our aim is to ensure that players of all levels achieve their “goals” and maintain a love for the game. We are searching for kids to compete in our developmental age groups programs of Under 10 Division, Under 8 Division and Under 6 Division.
We focus on learning the fundamentals of competitive soccer. From ages 3-18, both boys and girls participate in a sport that offers cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and weight control.
